Hummingbird Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups
  • flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 12 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 12 tsp vanilla
  • 8 oz can crushed pineapple undrained
  • 2 cups chopped nuts
  • 2 cups chopped bananas

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl Add eggs and oil stir until dry ingredients are moistened Don not beat Stir in vanilla pineapple nuts and bananas Spoon into 3 greased and floured 9- inch cake pans Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes Cool Frost with cream cheese icing Sprinkle chopped nuts on top
