Hungarian  Paprikas

Ingredients

  • chicken
  • 1 large or 2 medium onions diced
  • shortening
  • 1 tsp red pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • elbow macaroni
  • 1 to 1 12 quart water

Directions

  1. Saut onions in 2 Tbsp shortening drain
  2. Add to the onions the red pepper and paprika salt and water
  3. Add cut up chicken and cook until tender about 2 hours
