Hungarian Goulash

Ingredients

  • 1 12 lb beef cubes
  • 2 medium onions
  • paprika 2 tsp or more for color
  • 6 large potatoes
  • oil
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Cut beef cubes in pieces about one-inch square or smaller Cut up onions medium fine
  2. Fry onions in oil until brown
  3. Add paprika and stir
  4. Add water about 4 cups
  5. Simmer until beef is nearly tender
  6. Add potatoes cubed pieces
  7. Cook until potatoes are done
  8. Eat as is or pour over noodles or rice
