Hungarian Pork And Sauerkraut

Ingredients

  • 1 onion sliced very thin
  • 6 pork chops or spareribs
  • 1 large can sauerkraut
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c water
  • 1 heaping tsp sugar

Directions

  1. Place 6 pork chops or spareribs on bottom of pan
  2. Top with onion sliced very thin
  3. Add sauerkraut drained over pork then next pour on tomato sauce
  4. Add water cover and simmer 1 12 hours on top of stove
  5. Before serving add 1 heaping teaspoonful sugar
  6. Do not stir or disturb while cooking
