Hungarian Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 3 c sauerkraut
- 4 Tbsp paprika
- 1 12 c canned tomatoes
- 3 large potatoes sliced and parboiled
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
Directions
- Sprinkle chops lightly with salt and pepper flour on both sides
- Brown in a heavy skillet then arrange a layer of kraut then a layer of potatoes with a layer of kraut on top
- Sprinkle with paprika and brown sugar
- Pour tomatoes over top
- Cover and cook slowly on top of stove for 40 to 45 minutes or until chops are very tender
