Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 2 qt milk
- 2 large cans Pet milk
- 1 can condensed milk
- 6 whole eggs
- 1 c sugar
- pinch of salt
- lump of butter
- 12 c cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Place all milk in a heavy pan on the fire
- When milk is warm add eggs and sugar
- After they have been beaten really good dissolve cornstarch in a bowl with some of the cold milk mixture Then add this to milk and egg mixture
- Stirring all the time add salt and butter
- Cook until near boiling
- Stir continually
- Add vanilla extract
- Fruits may be added
- Place in icebox the night before
- Use a hand freezer
- Add fruits the next day
- Makes a big gallon
