Icebox Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 c warm water
  • 12 c sugar
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 34 c margarine melted
  • 4 c all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water
  2. Add salt sugar eggs margarine then flour
  3. Stir
  4. Let stand in refrigerator overnight Roll out on lightly floured board 14-inch thick and cut like pieces of pie
  5. Roll from wide end to point
  6. Set on greased cookie sheet and let stand about 3 hours before baking at 425 for about 15 minutes
  7. Add more flour if dough is too thin
  8. Unused dough keeps well until needed
