Icebox Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 c mashed potato
  • 23 c Crisco
  • 23 c sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c scalded milk
  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 12 c lukewarm water
  • 2 eggs beaten

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients well
  2. Add all-purpose flour until dough is stiffer than biscuit dough
  3. Turn onto floured surface
  4. Knead Roll out
  5. Use biscuit cutter to cut dough
  6. Put rolls on greased pan and grease top of rolls
  7. Let rise under tea towel for 2 12 hours in warm place
  8. Bake at 375
