Imperial Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 3 c flour
- 18 tsp salt
- 12 tsp baking powder
- 2 12 c sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 12 c vegetable oil
- 6 eggs
- 1 c milk
- 1 tsp lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 12 tsp almond flavoring
Directions
- Sift flour once then measure 3 cups flour
- Add salt and baking powder sift again
- Set aside
- Cream shortening and oil with sugar
- Add eggs to shortening mixture one at a time Alternately mix in flour and milk
- Add flavorings and mix well Pour in a lightly greased and floured cake pan
- Bake at 325 for 80 minutes
