Indian Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 can 17 oz whole kernel corn
  • 3 bacon slices
  • 14 c chopped green pepper
  • 1 small onion minced
  • 12 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 14 c heavy cream

Directions

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces fry until crisp drain reserving 2 tablespoons fat
  2. In reserved fat saute green pepper and onion until tender
  3. Add corn salt and pepper heat thoroughly over medium heat
  4. Add cream cook 1 minute stirring
  5. Stir in bacon Serve immediately
  6. Serves 4
