IreneS Cobbler

Ingredients
- 4 c fruit or berries fresh or if frozen drain liquid out
- 1 c flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 c sugar
- 1 stick oleo or butter
- 23 c milk
Directions
- Combine fruit with 1 cup sugar and simmer 5 to 10 minutes Melt butter in 12 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish
- Mix flour and baking powder and add the second cup of sugar with milk and blend well
- Pour batter over melted butter oleo in baking dish and ladle hot fruit mix and juice over top of dish
- Bake 25 minutes at 350
