Irish Stew
Ingredients
- 2 lb stew beef
- 6 large carrots
- 6 to 8 good sized potatoes
- 6 large onions
- 6 turnips
Directions
- Bring meat to a boil in large pan
- When meat is about half cooked add the carrots sliced and the onions and turnips quartered
- Cook until vegetables are about half done
- Then add the potatoes cut in quarters
- Season with salt and pepper Cook until the stew begins to thicken
