Irish Whiskey Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • double strength coffee
  • 2 Tbsp bourbon or scotch
  • 1 large carton Cool Whip

Directions

  1. Make yellow cake according to directions except substitute double strength coffee for water called for
  2. Bake in two round layers
  3. When layers are cool split them in half
  4. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon whiskey on each cut except for rounded top
  5. Spread Cool Whip on each cut surface and top
  6. Stack layers
  7. Refrigerate 8 hours 24 is better
