Italian Biscotti

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp anise or vanilla
- 2 c flour
- 14 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
Directions
- Cream sugar with butter in mixer
- Add eggs and flavoring Sift flour salt and baking powder
- Fold dry ingredients into other mixture
- Shape into a flat loaf on ungreased cookie sheet Bake 18 to 20 minutes
- Take out and cut into slices
- Put back into oven and brown 10 minutes
