Italian Cookies

Ingredients

• 3 c flour
• 2 c confectioners sugar 1 12 c for not as sweet if preferred
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 14 tsp salt
• 14 lb shortening butter or margarine
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Mix flour sugar baking powder and salt
2. Work in butter until it disappears
3. Add eggs and vanilla and knead until soft and pliable
4. Pinch off piece of dough and roll into length of about 4 to 5-inches twist and place on greased cookie sheet Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes
