Italian Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 c flour
- 2 c confectioners sugar 1 12 c for not as sweet if preferred
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 14 tsp salt
- 14 lb shortening butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Mix flour sugar baking powder and salt
- Work in butter until it disappears
- Add eggs and vanilla and knead until soft and pliable
- Pinch off piece of dough and roll into length of about 4 to 5-inches twist and place on greased cookie sheet Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes
