Italian Meat Balls
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices toast
- 2 cloves garlic and garlic salt
- 1 egg
- 4 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Soak toast in cold water for 7 or 8 minutes and then press dry
- Combine with all the other ingredients
- In a bowl work together until thoroughly blended
- Form in 12 medium sized balls and fry slowly in about 2 tablespoons hot shortening until brown on all sides
- Do not turn meat balls until absolutely done
