Italian Meat Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices toast
  • 2 cloves garlic and garlic salt
  • 1 egg
  • 4 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Soak toast in cold water for 7 or 8 minutes and then press dry
  2. Combine with all the other ingredients
  3. In a bowl work together until thoroughly blended
  4. Form in 12 medium sized balls and fry slowly in about 2 tablespoons hot shortening until brown on all sides
  5. Do not turn meat balls until absolutely done
