Italian Meat Pie

Ingredients

• 1 12 lb ground beef
• 12 lb pork sausage
• 34 c oats
• 12 c tomato sauce
• 1 egg beaten
• 1 12 tsp salt optional
• 12 tsp pepper
• 2 tsp oregano
• 12 c Parmesan cheese
• 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach cooked and drained
• 2 16 oz cans baby tomatoes drained and sliced
• 12 oz grated Mozzarella cheese

Directions

1. Combine meats oats tomato sauce egg seasonings and 12 of the Parmesan cheese
2. Pack into bottom and halfway up the sides of an ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan
3. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes drain fat
4. Top meat with spinach
5. Arrange tomatoes over spinach Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese
6. Top with Mozzarella Bake at 350 for 15 minutes more or until cheese is golden brown and bubbly
7. Yields approximately 10 servings
