Italian Oyster Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large can peeled tomatoes
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1 tsp Morton seasoned salt
  • 18 tsp oregano
  • 1 pt Cedar Key oysters

Directions

  1. Saute onion in olive oil until transparent
  2. Add canned tomatoes seasoned salt and oregano
  3. Cook about 10 minutes on medium
  4. heat
  5. Addoysters
  6. and juice
  7. Stir as they cook for about 3
  8. to 5 minutes
  9. The edge of the oysters will curlIf you want
  10. your oysters well done cook longer
  11. Can be served over rice or spaghetti
