Italian Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 c water
  • 12 c oil not butter
  • 14 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 13 c warm water
  • 2 cakes Tbsp yeast
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 c flour

Directions

  1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil
  2. Pour over oil sugar and salt Cook
  3. until
  4. only
  5. lukewarm
  6. Dissolve
  7. yeast in 13 c warm water
  8. Add
  9. to
  10. cooled mixture along with the eggs and 3 cups flour
  11. Stir
  12. until
  13. smooth
  14. Add
  15. remaining 3 cups flour and blend in
  16. Turn out onto a lightly floured board and knead lightly
  17. Shape
  18. into rolls and place on greased pans I use 9 x 13-inch pans
  19. Let rise until doubled
  20. Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
