Italian Torta

Ingredients
- 1 qt plus 13 c hot milk
- 34 loaf Italian sliced bread broken in pieces
- 3 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 2 c raisins
- 1 medium apple grated
- 3 Tbsp brandy
Directions
- Soak bread in hot milk
- Set aside
- Beat together eggs and sugar
- Add to soaked breadmilk mixture
- Add vanilla raisins and grated apple
- Add brandy last
- Bake in well-greased pan at 350 for 1 hour
