Jalapeno Cornbread Casserole

Ingredients

• 2 c Aunt Jemima cornmeal mix
• 1 c milk
• 1 can creamed corn
• 1 egg
• 2 tsp oil
• 1 lb hamburger meat
• 1 medium chopped onion
• 1 lb shredded Cheddar cheese
• 5 chopped jalapeno peppers

Directions

1. Brown hamburger and onion in skillet
2. In a large mixing bowl add cornbread mix milk egg oil and creamed corn
3. Mix well Pour half of mixture in a deep cast-iron skillet
4. Layer hamburger and onion layer cheese and then pepper
5. Cover with remaining mix
6. Cook at 350 for 1 hour
