JaneS Chicken In A Blanket

Ingredients

  • 4 boned chicken breasts
  • 4 12 c water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 peppercorns
  • 34 tsp crumbled rosemary
  • 3 Tbsp instant minced onion
  • 2 pkgs crescent rolls
  • 3 Tbsp chopped parsley
  • 6 Tbsp margarine melted
  • 6 Tbsp flour
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp lemon pepper

Directions

  1. Boil slowly chicken with salt peppercorns rosemary and onions about 30 minutes
  2. Remove from heat reserving liquid Strain broth and skim off fat
  3. Skin chicken
  4. Cut breasts in half Open crescent rolls and put two triangles together to form a rectangle and press seam to join
  5. Sprinkle parsley on each rectangle
  6. Place breast in center and fold dough to wrap
  7. Place on cookie sheet seam side down
  8. Seal with water
  9. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes or until light brown on top
  10. Serve with lemon sauce
