JanS Chicken Stock

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken
  • 1 gal water
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 stalks celery with leaves
  • 12 c chicken bouillon

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except the chicken liver into a large pan
  2. Bring to a boil
  3. Turn heat to simmer for 2 hours
  4. Remove chicken strain broth
  5. This broth may be used for soup stew or just eaten like it is
  6. Will keep in refrigerator for 1 week
