Jeff Davis Pie

Ingredients

• 1 9-inch pie shell uncooked
• 2 c sugar
• 12 c butter
• 1 Tbsp flour
• 14 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 c milk
• 4 eggs

Directions

1. Cream together until fluffy butter and sugar add flour salt and vanilla and beat well after each addition
2. Stir in milk slowly
3. Pour into well chilled pie shell and bake in hot oven at 450 for 10 minutes
4. Reduce heat to 350 and continue baking for 30 minutes or until firm
