Jeff Davis Pie

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 1 Tbsp flour
• 1 c sweet cream
• 1 c butter
• 6 eggs beaten

Directions

1. Mix sugar and flour and cream with butter
2. Beat until light and frothy
3. Add eggs
4. Pour into unbaked pastry-lined pan
5. Bake as for custard pie about 40 minutes starting with hot oven to set pastry then reduce heat for remainder of baking time
6. Top with meringue when cool
