Jelly Jump-Ups

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
  • 12 lb margarine
  • 2 c flour
  • pinch of salt
  • jelly or jam
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

  1. Combine first four ingredients
  2. Wrap in waxed paper chill and roll thin
  3. Cut into four-inch circles
  4. Place 1 tablespoon jelly or jam in each
  5. Fold in half Place on baking sheet
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 400
  7. Sprinkle warm cookies with sugar
  8. Yields 4 to 5 dozen
