Jewish Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- 2 c sugar
- 12 lb butter or oleo
- 4 eggs
- 3 c flour
- 2 12 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp soda
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 pt sour cream or buttermilk
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 12 c sugar
Directions
- Cream sugar butter or oleo and eggs one at a time
- Add flour baking powder soda vanilla and sour cream or buttermilk In small bowl mix cinnamon chopped nuts and sugar
- Pour half of batter in cake pan put half of topping onto cake then add remaining cake batter and top with remaining topping
- Bake in greased 13 x 9-inch pan in 350 oven for for 45 to 50 minutes
