Jewish Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c sugar
  • 12 lb butter or oleo
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c flour
  • 2 12 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pt sour cream or buttermilk
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 c chopped nuts
  • 12 c sugar

Directions

  1. Cream sugar butter or oleo and eggs one at a time
  2. Add flour baking powder soda vanilla and sour cream or buttermilk In small bowl mix cinnamon chopped nuts and sugar
  3. Pour half of batter in cake pan put half of topping onto cake then add remaining cake batter and top with remaining topping
  4. Bake in greased 13 x 9-inch pan in 350 oven for for 45 to 50 minutes
