Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 box Jiffy cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 12 c warm water
  • 12 c sugar
  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 12 to 3 c flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Soften yeast in water mix all ingredients well
  2. Add 2 12 to 3 cups flour
  3. Mix into a soft dough
  4. Let rise until doubled in bulk
  5. Work one half at a time
  6. Roll out on a floured surface Sprinkle with a mixture of the cinnamon and sugar
  7. Roll up from the small end
  8. Cut into half-inch pieces and put into a greased pan
  9. Let rise until doubled in bulk
  10. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned
  11. May be frosted with a drizzle of powdered sugar and milk
