John Wayne Cheese Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 4 oz cans chopped green chilies drained
- 1 lb Monterey Jack cheese grated
- 1 lb Cheddar cheese grated
- 4 egg whites
- 4 egg yolks
- 23 c canned milk
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
Directions
- Grate cheeses and add chilies in a bowl
- Beat egg whites until stiff
- Mix together remaining ingredients and fold into egg whites
- Pour over cheese mixture mix with a fork
- Pour into a greased round casserole dish
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour
- Serves 8
