Just Like Fresh Corn
Ingredients
- 1 lb butter no substitutes
- 20 c fresh cut sweet corn kernels
- 2 c half and half cream
Directions
- Place butter in a roasting pan and place in a 325 oven until melted
- Stir in corn and cream
- Bake uncovered for 75 minutes or until the corn is tender stirring occasionally
- Immediately place roaster in ice water to cool quickly stirring frequently Transfer corn to heavy duty plastic freezer bags and freeze
- May be frozen for up to 1 month
- To serve just reheat
- Yield 16 cups
