Ingredients
- 2 doz small to medium quahaugs
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c flavored bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp white wine
- about 6 slices raw bacon
- red pepper to taste
- parsley
Directions
- Open quahaug and split in half
- Loosen completely from shell cutting
- through
- muscle
- Saute onion in butter until yellow Remove
- from heat
- add the other ingredients and mix well
- Cool slightly
- then
- firmly pat about a tablespoon on top
- of each quahaug half in shell
- Sprinkle red pepper and parsley
- on top

- in 350 oven for 30 minutes
