Kentucky Bourbon Cake

Ingredients

• 12 lb butter
• 1 lb confectioners sugar
• 4 c flour
• 12 c molasses
• 1 Tbsp nutmeg
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 c bourbon
• 6 eggs beaten separately
• 8 oz raisins
• 8 oz chopped dates
• 1 lb chopped pecans

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar
2. Add eggs beat until smooth
3. Add flour soda baking powder and nutmeg with bourbon and molasses Mix in dates raisins and pecans
4. Bake at 275 for 1 hour in a 10-inch tube pan or 2 loaf pans
