Kraut Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 No 303 can sauerkraut
  • 1 medium bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small jar chopped pimentos drained
  • 12 c cooking oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 c chopped celery
  • 1 c sugar
  • 12 c white vinegar

Directions

  1. Mix kraut onion bell pepper celery and pimentos
  2. Pour sugar over vegetables and stir
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight 24 hours
  4. Next day drain real good stir to help with the draining
  5. When drained good add the oil and vinegar
  6. Keep covered will keep several weeks in refrigerator
