LadsonS Potato Pone
Ingredients
- 5 lb sweet potatoes
- 34 c butter
- 34 c sugar
- 12 c syrup
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 34 c flour
- 14 c grated orange peel
Directions
- Mix all ingredients
- and
- cook on top of stove in heavy iron skillet stirring
- frequently
- Must
- cookslowly on low heat When almost done put in baking pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until done
