LammasmuhennosLamb Stew
Ingredients
- 3 lb boneless lamb cubed
- 2 leeks cut into 12-inch pieces
- 1 c shredded cabbage
- 14 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 6 potatoes sliced
- 4 carrots cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 c water
Directions
- Place alternate layers of meat and vegetables in a large Dutch oven
- Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper
- Add water
- Bring to a boil and reduce the heat
- Cover and simmer 12 hour or until the meat is tender
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving
