Lasagna Al Forno

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 12 c 32 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1 16 oz box Ronzoni curly edge lasagna
  • 2 c 8 oz Mozzarella cheese diced or shredded
  • 4 c 32 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Brown beef or sausage cut in small pieces in oil in 3-quart saucepan drain
  2. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 15 minutes stirring occasionally
  3. Cook lasagna drain
  4. Separate lasagna and lay out flat on wax paper or aluminum foil to keep pieces from sticking together as they cool Spread about half cup meat sauce on bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking dish
  5. Cover with layer of lasagna
  6. Add some Mozzarella and Ricotta cheeses and cover with sauce
  7. Repeat layers of lasagna meat sauce and cheeses ending with a layer of lasagna and sauce
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese
  9. Cover dish with aluminum foil
  10. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly
  11. Remove foil and bake 5 minutes longer
  12. Allow to stand about 10 minutes before cutting for easier handling
