Layered Ground Beef Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 large onion sliced and divided
- 1 c sliced celery divided
- 1 large green pepper seeded sliced and divided
- salt and pepper
- 1 to 1 12 lb ground beef
- 1 c 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 large potatoes peeled and sliced thin
- 1 c 10 34 oz cream of celery soup
Directions
- In 2-quart casserole layer half the onion celery and green pepper season with salt and pepper
- Top with beef season with three-fourths teaspoon salt and 12 teaspoon pepper
- Pour on tomato sauce
- Top with remaining onion celery and pepper Arrange potatoes over top spread with soup
- Bake uncovered in preheated 350 oven for 1 to 1 12 to 2 hours or until potatoes are tender and top is lightly browned
- Do not stir
- Makes 6 servings
