Layered Lettuce Salad
Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce in small pieces
- 1 c diced celery
- 4 hard-boiled eggs sliced
- 1 10 oz pkg frozen peas thawed uncooked
- 12 c diced green pepper
- 1 medium diced onion
- 8 slices cooked crumbled bacon
- 2 c mayonnaise
- 1 to 2 Tbsp sugar
- 4 oz Cheddar cheese shredded
- parsley
- 12 to 1 tsp lemon juice
- mustard to taste
Directions
- Layer first 7 ingredients in order given in a 12 x 9-inch casserole dish
- Combine mayonnaise lemon juice mustard and sugar spread evenly over top of salad completely sealing to edges Sprinkle with cheese
- Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours Garnish with parsley
