Leftover Oatmeal Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 14 c water
  • 1 c quick oats
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 12 c flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Boil water
  2. Add oats stir and set aside to cool
  3. Or use the leftover oatmeal from breakfast instead of throwing it out Mix oleo eggs brown sugar sugar and cinnamon
  4. Add flour soda and salt
  5. Add cooled oatmeal and mix
  6. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes
  7. Frost or dust with powdered sugar as desired or serve with whipped cream
  8. May be served hot or cold
