Ingredients

  • 14 c chopped green peppers
  • 3 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 tsp cornstarch
  • 12 tsp sugar optional
  • 14 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 14 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper

Directions

  1. In 1-quart microproof casserole combine carrots and water Cover
  2. Cook on High maximum power 6 minutes
  3. Stir in green peppers
  4. Cover
  5. Cook on High maximum power 12 to 15 minutes or until carrots are tender stirring once during cooking time Drain
