Lemon Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c butter or oleo
  • 2 c sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp grated lemon rind
  • 3 12 c flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 c sour cream

Directions

  1. Grease 3 9-inch round cake pans
  2. Cream butter and sugar add eggs and beat well
  3. Add vanilla and lemon rind
  4. Sift flour baking powder soda and salt
  5. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350
