Lemon Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb medium carrots
- 14 tsp salt
- boiling water
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 4 thin slices lemon
Directions
- Wash carrots pare
- Place in large saucepan with salt and enough boiling water to cover
- Simmer covered for 15 minutes or until tender
- Drain
- Melt butter in large skillet
- Stir in sugar
- Add lemon slices and carrots cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until carrots are glazed
- Makes 6 servings
