Lemon Glow Angel Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 3 or 3 14 oz pkg vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 10-inch angel food cake
  • 1 21 oz can lemon pie filling
  • 1 pkg dessert topping mix

Directions

  1. Cook pudding according to directions
  2. Cover with wax paper cool
  3. Cut a 1-inch slice from top of cake set aside
  4. Cut around 1 inch from hole in cake and 1 inch from outside of cake Lift out to make a well in cake leaving a 1-inch base
  5. Beat pudding smooth
  6. Fold half into lemon pie filling set aside half of lemon mixture
  7. Spoon remaining into cake
  8. Replace top of cake Prepare topping mix
  9. Fold in remaining pudding
  10. Frost top and sides of cake
  11. Chill before serving
  12. Spoon remaining pudding mixture over top of cake
