Lemon Herb Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp flour
- 1 tsp grated lemon peel
- 14 tsp dried dill weed
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 c half and half
- 1 egg yolk beaten
Directions
- Melt margarine in saucepan remove from heat
- Stir in lemon peel flour dill weed and salt
- Blend in half and half cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and comes to a boil Remove from heat
- Blend a small amount of hot mixture with egg yolk blend back into hot mixture
- Stir well cook for 1 minute longer
- Serve over cooked vegetables
