Lemon Meringue PieI Make This Often ItS Good

Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 14 c cornstarch
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 12 c boiling water
- 2 egg yolks
- 13 c lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon rind
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 baked pie shell
- meringue
Directions
- Combine sugar cornstarch and salt
- Add water very gradually and cook in double boiler in boiling water until it cooks and thickens stirring constantly
- Beat egg yolks and pour hot mixture over them gradually stirring constantly
- Just before removing from heat add lemon juice rind and butter
- Mix well and pour into crust
- Put meringue on top
