Lemon Sponge Custard Pie

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs separated
- juice of 1 lemon
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 18 tsp salt
- 1 c milk
- 1 9-inch pie crust unbaked
Directions
- Cream butter
- Add sugar egg yolks lemon juice flour and salt
- Mix well
- Stir in milk
- Beat egg whites until stiff
- Fold egg whites into 1st mixture
- Pour into crust-lined pie plate Bake at 450 for 10 minutes then 35 more minutes at 350
