Lemony Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- 12 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 14 tsp garlic powder
- 1 12 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 12 tsp lemon pepper
- 16 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts cut in 1-inch pieces
- cooking oil
Directions
- Measure first 7 ingredients into a plastic bag close tightly and shake to blend
- Moisten chicken with lemon juice
- Let stand for 30 minutes
- Place chicken chunks a few at a time into plastic bag
- Shake to coat thoroughly
- Pour oil into heavy saucepan filling no more than 13 full
- Heat to 375
- Carefully add chicken a few pieces at a time
- Fry turning once about 2 minutes or until tender
- Drain on paper towels
