Light As A Feather Muffins

Ingredients

• 14 c sugar
• 14 c soft shortening
• 1 egg
• 1 34 c flour
• 4 tsp baking powder
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 c milk

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375
2. Grease muffin cups
3. Mix sugar and shortening well
4. Blend in egg
5. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk
6. Fill muffin cups 23 full Bake 20 to 23 minutes
7. Serve hot
8. Makes 14 to 16 small muffins
