Little Reubens
Ingredients
- 1 12 oz can corned beef
- 34 lb sliced Swiss cheese
- 1 No 1 can Bavarian sauerkraut drained well
- 14 c diced onions
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp sweet relish
- 2 Tbsp Guldens mustard
- 1 loaf party bread
Directions
- Cook the drained sauerkraut for 5 minutes with the diced onions and 2 tablespoons butter
- Mix corned beef with relish and mustard
- Spread on slice of party bread
- Top with heaping tablespoonful of sauerkraut mixture and slice of Swiss cheese Broil until cheese melts
- Serve as an appetizer
