Louisiana Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 14 c butter
  • 12 c sugar
  • 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • Dash salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 12 c heavy cream
  • 1 c chopped nuts

Directions

  1. In bowl combine butter sugar and salt blend well Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
  2. Stir in vanilla flour cream and pecans
  3. Pour mixture into pie shell Bake at 350 until done
  4. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream
