Louisiana Yam Pie

Ingredients

• 1 12 c cooked sweet potatoes
• 12 c sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp allspice
• 12 tsp salt
• 3 eggs
• 1 c milk
• 2 Tbsp butter
• 9-inch unbaked pastry

Directions

1. Mash sweet potatoes until free of lumps
2. Add sugar cinnamon allspice and salt
3. Beat eggs add to mixture and cream well Blend milk and butter
4. Mix well
5. Pour into pastry shell
6. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350
